US Embassy in Nigeria opens up new pickup and submission center in Port Harcourt

The US embassy in Nigeria today has announced a new pickup and submission center in Port Harcourt, applicants who wish to pick up their visas can now do so in their Port Harcourt center, see below an official statement released by the embassy today on their official website with some other important details.

DHL Document Collection Center – Port Harcourt

The new DHL Document Collection Center in Port Harcourt is open. Applicants who interview in Lagos or Abuja can choose to pick up their passports in Port Harcourt, in addition to existing facilities in Abuja and Lagos. Similarly, applicants can submit their passports to the Port Harcourt collection center as part of the U.S. Mission to Nigeria’s drop box renewal program.

Passport collection via the center in Port Harcourt will take one additional day. Individuals whose visa applications are approved can expect their passports within four days. Drop box applicants can expect their passports within 7-10 days.

DS-160 CONFIRMATION NUMBER ACCURACY

Effective December 1, 2014, the U.S. Mission to Nigeria will require that the DS-160 non-immigrant visa application confirmation number used to schedule visa interviews match the application confirmation page that is brought to the interview.

Applicants who do not meet this criterion will not be interviewed and will have to purchase a new fee receipt to book another appointment.
Full instructions on how to make an appointment for a non-immigrant visa interview are available on our website: http://nigeria.usembassy.gov.

Applicants with existing appointments in December and beyond should contact the CGI Call Center at +234 0144 06218 to make any necessary changes.

Another person who is also thanking God with am sure everything he owns on earth is Genaral Buhari, his convoy was attacked in what appears a suicide bomb explosion in Kaduna along Ali Akilu road kawo on Wednesday July 23 2014. His wife Aisha Buhari is still in shock describing the experience as scarring. See pcitures of his vehicle below, well the same can't be said about the other 72 people who lost their lives in the horrific suicide attack, may God grant their souls eternal rest.

Talking about horrific and traumatic experience, my heart goes out to the two- year old girl that was raped in broad daylight by a 30-year old man, her only crime was that she was sleeping on the corridor with her pants only. What comforting words do you tell that innocent two-year old girl Favour. Mr. Inya-Okoro is currently cooling his manhood in the police cell. God please heal that innocent girl, whose only crime was that she was sleeping with only her pants on. See pictures below.

Hmm, I guess you are wondering what is so easy for men, well on my way to work today, the vehicle I was in, there was this fat young man sitting right in front of me, what drew my attention to him, was actually the fact that when the driver was collecting his fare, the fat guy told him to hold on, and this about happened about three times, the fat guy was busy typing profusely on his phone, I had to peep, yeah I know it's bad and all that to poke nose into other people's affairs, but I just had to find out what the guy was typing away at.

Soliders on Rampage on Ikorodu road

There were reports at the early morning of today 4/7/2014, that a BRT bus driver hit a Solider on a bike along the Ikorodu axis, the news has not being verified though, and as a result soldiers have been on rampage on that road, beating up civilians and burning BRT buses for close to three hours now and no one has been able to put a stop to that.

What kind of callousness and lawlessness are they exhibiting, is violence the only way to resolve issues in Nigeria, can't they resolve issues without burning or destroying properties.

Hey everyone, i know i have been MIA for a long while... Well i had to go off all social media, for lent and it was really worth it..

So am back now and will try to update regularly..

For now, i have been reading and updating myself with all the gist around the globe.. Just read today that Peaches Geldof is dead, was shocked!!!

My heart is bleeding for the girls still in the boko haram camp, my prayer is that they would all come home safely. The Abuja bomb blast was another terrible news, i was like oh no! not again...God should please intervene oh, we need him more than ever in Nigeria now..

Ok peeps will be coming back with my very first post on weddings, odd? nope, we have had so many gorgeous brides, and i will bring you all their pictures in one post.
