Is possible to have a decent wedding and not go bankrupt!

Awuuuu I love weddings,  it is a very intimate celebration whichI believe has God seal and approval.

He created Eve out of Adam and he also changed water into wine at the Canaan Wedding.
Here in Nigeria,  people always and do give their best when celebrating one. It is always a huge and big event, some people even go bankrupt after celebrating their weddings.



And to think you can have a decent, nice wedding without overstretching your budget or bank account.

The catholic church in Nigeria and most especially in Lagos state my parish for instance CKC Akowonjo do celebrate mass weddings, where people who have been living together as husbands and wives,  and already have children and yet they have not celebrated the holy matrimony all come together and they have these big elaborate mass wedding for them. The whole idea is for you  to start receiving holy communion and be at peace with God,.

Find below some tips for having a decent wedding:

1: Fix your wedding date on a weekday: Yeah you get the hall cheaper on week days and also at a discounted rate. If people really care for you, don't worry they will all make out time to attend your wedding and you also get to cut the guest list too.

2;   Rent a wedding gown, there are so many bridal shops available now that rents out exotic trendy wedding gowns at affordable rates.

3: instead of spending huge sum of money for wedding cakes you can also have small cup cakes as your wedding cake. It is beautiful, cost saving and trendy check out some pictures below

Please do get a good photographer and Video man, they are very important, you want good quality pictures you can show your grandchildren in the future.

All in all, have fun and remember the day is just the beginning of your lives together, the proper  marriage comes after the wedding.
