US Embassy in Nigeria opens up new pickup and submission center in Port Harcourt

The US embassy in Nigeria today has announced a new pickup and submission center in Port Harcourt, applicants who wish to pick up their visas can now do so in their Port Harcourt center, see below an official statement released by the embassy today on their official  website with some other important details.
               

          DHL Document Collection Center – Port Harcourt 

• The new DHL Document Collection Center in Port Harcourt is open.  Applicants who interview in Lagos or Abuja can choose to pick up their passports in Port Harcourt, in addition to existing facilities in Abuja and Lagos.  Similarly, applicants can submit their passports to the Port Harcourt collection center as part of the U.S. Mission to Nigeria’s drop box renewal program. 

• Passport collection via the center in Port Harcourt will take one additional day.  Individuals whose visa applications are approved can expect their passports within four days.  Drop box applicants can expect their passports within 7-10 days. 

• The address for the DHL Collection Center in Port Harcourt is:
  GSS Document Collection Center, DHL House
  No. 82 Trans Amadi, Ella Estate, Near Bewac Junction
  Port Harcourt 

DS-160 CONFIRMATION NUMBER ACCURACY 

• Effective December 1, 2014, the U.S. Mission to Nigeria will require that the DS-160 non-immigrant visa application confirmation number used to schedule visa interviews match the application confirmation page that is brought to the interview. 

• Applicants who do not meet this criterion will not be interviewed and will have to purchase a new fee receipt to book another appointment.
• Full instructions on how to make an appointment for a non-immigrant visa interview are available on our website: http://nigeria.usembassy.gov. 

• Applicants with existing appointments in December and beyond should contact the CGI Call Center at +234 0144 06218 to make any necessary changes.

Woman Sentenced to Death in Sudan meets Pope Francis

You remember her? The christian Woman who was sentenced to death in Sudan for apostasy, She met with Pope Francis today. Am so happy for her that her story had a happy ending after all. God never fails nor abandons those who put their trust and hope in him.

Another person who is also thanking God with am sure everything he owns on earth is Genaral  Buhari, his convoy was attacked in what appears a suicide bomb explosion in Kaduna along Ali Akilu road kawo on Wednesday July 23 2014. His wife Aisha Buhari is still in shock describing the experience as scarring. Talking about horrific and traumatic experience, my heart goes out to the two- year old girl that was raped in broad daylight by a 30-year old man, her only crime was that she was sleeping on the corridor with her pants only. What comforting words do you tell that innocent two-year old girl Favour. Mr. Inya-Okoro is currently cooling his manhood in the police cell. God please heal that innocent girl, whose only crime was that she was sleeping with only her pants on. See pictures below.
