Burberry chief Executive Angela Ahrendts turns down Oscars invitations to be with her Family



Talk about putting family first, the CEO of Burberry, Angela Ahrendts has said she regularly declines sought-after invitations, such as the opportunity to go to the Oscars ceremony, because family is more important. 





She also warned other working mothers that “you can’t do it all” Mrs. Ahrendts who joined the American company in 2006, became the CEO six months later, and was the highest paid chief executive of any FTSE 100 company in 2012, the first woman to top the elite league table with a total package of  £16.9million.
She describes herself as having three jobs, wife, mother and chief executive of a fashion label, and goes on to add that she wants to be a really great wife to her husband.

The 53 year old also said “I don’t want to be a great executive without being a great mum and a great wife.
Wow, am really inspired, in spite of all, her family still comes first. What do you think about Mrs. Ahrendts comments?
