The new PDP has requested all its
members worldwide to embark a 7 days fasting exercise, due to the concern for
the plight of parents and university students regarding the strike by the
Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Baraje also set up a four man committee
with the Governor of Niger State Babangida Aliyu as Chairman to look for the
best way to get the parties involved to reach a common ground.
Other members of the committee are
Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Chinwo Ike, President of UNIPORT
Alumni, and Mr. Timi Frank, the nPDP National Youth Leader.
Honestly only Christ can intervene,
because the whole issue is getting out of hand. We need a solution fast.
