Chikwe has been elected as the National Women Leader of the People’s
Democratic Party. She beat Nosike Ann Frances, Nwabueze Nikky Nkiru,
Ibeneme Heplizibah Chika, Nnadi Betty Hukaku, Orubele Ngozi Bernadette;
Chukukere Gloria Chineze, Uchegbu Kate Ada, Ineh Lady Love Ihuoma and Onuoha-Ibezim
Mariama with a total of 2,011 votes.
